It's really not too bad. Not as bad as I thought. It's improving too. I'll give 2 more weeks to see how things go. But I have more confidence now. :)

Last night S went to London Eye for an event. Housemate came back at 8ish so we chatted quite a lot for over 1 hr. Guess I start to get used to it.

Caught a WM update this morning. Quite love one inspired by Bavarian Milk Cow! But I managed to control myself and didn't buy anything! YEAH! :)

Read from the forum that someone in UK has finally received the WM backlog sent on Oct 27. I hope mine will arrive today or tomorrow. Can't wait.

After taking a 4-week break, I started sending out CV this morning but could only find one job to apply. Well. Let's relax. Just let it flow.

琴日還鑰匙俾舊房東，佢扣起左我地£600按金。因為我地過去六個月都開唔到電力戶口(係咁架啦，英國人做野都係甩甩漏漏，我都就快頂佢地唔順啦)，而家個舊房東話會去整，交左錢之後會將剩下的還俾我地喎。希望係真架啦，因為我覺得我地呢六個月最多只會用左£300或者£400電費，冇理由俾佢食我地£200架!

除左食野唔方便，假期交通都唔方便。途經屋企的輕鐵線逢週末都停線，所以我琴晚由西邊返屋企搭左兩個鐘頭轉左四次車。不過今朝好好多，我同S 8:00一齊出門口，佢9:15就返到啦。我就8:55返到，差唔多一個鐘，都ok。聽日會試下另一個方法返工，睇下會唔會快d。

我上星期六搬左新屋啦。新屋原來真係大好多，廳、房、廚房、廁所都大過舊屋。不過落街食野唔方便，琴日星期日晚，樓下好似死城一樣，去最近間pub食野又賣晒，最後叫左pizza速遞，好彩都幾好食。

上星期五至蘇格蘭寄出的毛線已經收到了，但4星期前在德國寄來的毛線還是影都冇。網上聽到英國起碼都有四五個人好似我咁訂左WM仲未到，但都冇辦法，唯有希望RM快d清到晒d backlog，如果聖誕節前清唔到，睇怕要等多2個月...

而家寫緊份weekly report，發現英國真係好好笑，其實係好慘。政府放左差唔多2千億去執靚d銀行個帳目，想鼓勵佢地借多d錢出去，振興返經濟，但而家個lending同貨幣供應都一路係咁跌，銀行唔肯借錢，d人又未敢洗錢，咁攪法個經濟唔知要衰到幾時。

今日返番黎office啦。雖然仲係咳，但都算好多。喉嚨都係痛，睇怕都係發炎，或者真係要搵個GP睇睇。

呢排又睇 The X-files啦。其實我真係信有 UFO 架。

放工後去waitrose買餸。嘻嘻，買左好多好味的野，有portobello磨菇、露荀、同埋唔知咩咩英國邊度出但近乎pancetta的豬肉粒。用truffle oil炒埋一碟，好味到呢... 係近期自家煮飯中最好食的一餐。

同埋挑戰0號針失敗，gauge太緊好醜。剛剛試左用1.5號織DIC反而唔錯。本來卷DIC已經織左半條被肩，但我覺得呢隻冷都係唔適合織被肩，所以打算聽日拆左佢去織襪。

Noro Kueryon 真係史上最呃錢同肉酸的毛冷!! 簡直係騙案。(不過或者係我特別唔好彩，咁啱呢卷有隻肉酸的dirty mix color。

A new set of Knitpick sock-knitting DPNs have arrived. The wooden needles look gorgeous. Tempted to cast on a pair of socks tonight.

我地而家睇緊一個thermo保暖壼，打算買一個等我可以帶熱野返公司食(我間公司唔單止連微波爐都冇，仲規定唔俾食熱野，但我諗住摶大霧帶熱湯或者pasta係休息室飲。而家諗緊買0.75L定1.2L...

前兩日係公司canteen買左麥皮做早餐，每次都會送一盒蜜糖，但因為我落左提子乾後已經好夠甜，所以兩盒都冇用到留起左。今日剛好喉嚨有d乾乾地仲有少少痛，就擺左黎仲蜜糖玫瑰花茶啦。好香架。

琴日條頸巾終於織好啦，本來想即刻做埋定型，但浸左條頸巾落水之後先發現早排執野唔知放左盒大頭針去邊。唯有一陣去書局買過一盒啦，好彩唔太貴，幾百粒先係£1。

我張小王子法郎，終於安全返到去個賣家手上。睇黎Royal Mail開始清理倉底的backlog郵件啦。頭先剛剛聯絡左佢請佢resend俾我，希望過幾日收到啦。

最近老闆經常係公司，我唔想佢成個lunch有一句沒一句咁不停叫我做野，所以我中午都會專登避開佢，走去4樓休息室食飯，食完會織一陣野。呢間公司冇幾多人係休息室食野，多數係位食三文治或出街食，所以我黎黎去去都係見到嗰幾個人，包括一個黑人茶水阿姐。今朝係茶水間見到佢，佢仲主動問我織完我件野未。

今晚有個朋友生日，係 South Kensington 攪個 party，但我都係唔去啦。琴晚可能因為我一口氣食左兩個柿，攪到有d喉嚨痛，都係早d返屋企休息好過。同埋我又唔飲想飲酒，所以呢d生日會我都係唔去lu...

用左個10% off voucher 係 Celticove買左一套雙頭木針。由2mm到3.25mm共六個sizes。我揀呢隻牌子(knitpro)因為佢每個size有六枝針，比其他牌子多一支，有咩事拗斷或唔見都有後備。

佢話我知佢好唔開心，因為佢已經三十歲(我即刻話 me too!)又qualified左，但都要執頭執尾做 filing 貼 label。同佢傾完我先知道其實呢個時勢唔係剩係我地呢種外來人慘，就連英國人自己都好難搵工。

今日中午同新同事傾左一陣，原來佢好唔開心。而家做record mgt的佢，其實有3個學位，其中一個仲係相關的archiving 碩士，但佢而家做個位係好初級的，可能中七畢業就可以做。但公司而家只係按週合約請她，隨時可能做多一星期就冇左份工。同埋佢上司學歴比她低很多，亦是她不開心的另一個原因。

我覺得自己今日真係幾過份下，都冇乜做過正經野，剩係上網睇blog同埋蒲forum。頭先剛剛仲訂左少少野添。今日都冇乜心機lu，而家係度等放工咋。

不不，細心想想，忽然記起家中還有4卷未染過的米色幼線。除了食物染料，我還有三小樽固體acid dye喎，可以自己染藍色間條去織襪喎!!!

氣溫急降，今早氣溫只有三度，見手頭上的頸巾差不多織完，就想為男友織一雙襪子，但突然發現我stash內可織襪子的毛線，全是女性花的嬌媚顏色! 唯一可勉強織給男人的是最近買的wollmeise深紅色...

我唔再update vivianalondon 那個blog啦，不過會繼續用呢個自言自語blog，唔係我返工實悶鬼死我架!!!

我要睇reading啦又。又係個中東project，而家要睇 learning curve 的 literature 然後寫 summary 做 appendix....

我打左成個鐘頭blog囉，不過我相信我唔係唯一slacking的人，我對面個鬼妹同事都霹靂拍勒極速打字--咳咳，我幾乎99.99%肯定佢都係上緊forum，因為有幾次我經過佢個位都見佢上forum chit chat囉... :D

昨日S的父母終於回家了。他爸先回澳洲開工，他媽則回香港停兩星期才走。嘻嘻，無論如何，我們又回復二人世界囉。

夜晚去左 Covent Garden 的 Belgo Centraal，叫左3煲青口食。好好食。泰式棷汁青口原來好好味。仲有Mango Beer，比上次Ams飲的莓子啤酒好飲好多囉。

今日到了倫敦東 Cross Harbour站的 Lotus 飲荼，味道都ok呀，同埋同將來新屋距離好近，行10分鐘就到，好方便啊。

我覺得自己有病，我經常會問男友他跟前女友的事。或者我太八掛，但我想我們之間甚麼也能說，亦不想有甚麼事要到將來才有別人告訴我。

我袋 Wollmeise 黎左啦! 只係黎左一包，仲有另一包未到，不過我都好開心啦!! 不過而家煩緊究竟送邊一卷俾kylie，因為每卷都好靚喎...

我聽緊「對一個人愛錯」，嘻嘻，講起呢首歌，其實有個故仔，因為曾經有人係我MSN info 見到呢首歌就somehow「確認」左覺得我鍾意佢囉。算啦，遲d有機會先講啦。:)

昨日發現 W10的 Thai River泰菜館有半價。呢間野係都算近我地屋企，搭巴士大約15分鐘就到。之前食過都覺得幾好食，如果有半價即係十幾磅兩個人，係倫敦都算係平靚正呀，下星期等S父母走左之後去先。我地唔係刻薄佢地呀，佢媽咪話uncle怕熱氣所以對泰國野冇興趣，所以我地先唔同佢地去咋。

steph 份禮物終於到左啦，好多謝呀。好靚呀，睇得出佢好有心機。我即刻影左相，遲d再upload同寫係blog到先。不過我睇下個郵戳日期，原來份野今次用左20日先到! 平日香港寄野黎倫敦好似只係7至10日左右咋!

今朝遲起身，S為我夾左兩份三文治做早餐同午餐。頭先我一食，不禁皺眉頭。點解d蟹柳咁厚冇撕開架，同埋又冇煎蛋，只有火腿蟹柳同牛油咋(仲唔夠?!)。本來想話佢，但諗深一層，人地整野俾我食唔係應份架嘛，佢返工仲辛苦過我，但又做咁多家務(咳咳，琴晚我以冇手套為借口又俾佢幫我洗碗啦)，我應該多d感激少d抱怨。

我好嬲呀，我係德國訂的毛冷，居然琴日都仲未到。聽日royal mail又罷工啦，罷到星期一添呀，都唔知幾時先收到。我開始唔鍾意英國啦。d 人做野真係好慢手腳兼好麻煩，做少少野要經幾十重人，完全有架構膨脹的問題，又郁d就罷工，稅率又高，我地又冇咩福利好用喎。:(

琴日臨放工前我老闆同我開左半個鐘頭會，講左三個projects。佢仍然有唔知自己想要咩，想人地大包圍做完俾佢慢慢揀的習慣。不過講野的語氣則出奇地客氣，比以前好左唔知幾多倍。可能因為佢見我呢排成日講d要出門口講的電話，估我積極搵緊工，所以先變得咁客氣。而家我估佢驚我走多過我驚冇左份工。:D

琴晚auntie煲左鹹蛋豬肉粥，另外再係唐人街買左炒米炒河各一盒返黎食。其實老實講我唔係好啱食，除左個粥對我黎講太鹹，我都好唔慣夜晚食咁多米飯，粥米河全部都係carbo! 不過我冇出聲呀，因為人地一番心機嘛，我係應該appreciate的。同埋都係遷就埋呢一兩日啫。

遇上巴士detour，我被載到middle of nowhere!! 最後在離家0.7英里的The Vale 附近下車，再搭左幾個三四個站返轉頭。有驚無險。:)

昨晚放工時，在地鐵內看到一個南亞裔knitter，當時人多車又不穩，覺得她站在人羣中拿到一對大木針編織很是危險。後來她看到我編織，就跟我聊起天來。編織或其他興趣，有時真能夠把陌生人連結起來吧。

Ok. Back to Iran now. I mean back to my Iran report. I still have more to write about the political risk and presidency...

Cast on another scarf yesterday during lunch. The pattern is called Woodland. 16 different rows each gets 12 stitches. Very challenging but fun.

I lost interest in the red swallowtail shawl. A very bad idea to make the same pattern again only after 3 months. Hv to put it aside & pick up later.

Well. I indeed enjoy typing very short thoughts in "title" to make this blog like Twitter. Unfortunately I can't type Chinese easily in the office.

S said the agents here are very slow and inefficient. I need to push them hard to make progress so I emailed one this morning. Fingers crossed.

I got another call from another agent yesterday. It's the 3rd agent already but i haven't received a single job spec yet! How come?

Yesterday my boss said he wanted to discuss the Middle East & Iran projects at 10:00am. It's 10:10am but am still waiting. Sigh. Waiting is painful.

I didn't see my Wollmeise yesterday. But I saw someone posting her new Wollmeise on Ravelry. She's in London too. So where are my Wollmeise?!?!

Sometimes I miss the resource-abundant public libraries in US. UK libraries are like a desert. Maybe all money is given to healthcare & education?

It's 14:51pm. I suppose the mail guy will come soon. Very anxious. I hope my Wollmeise can arrive today!

Can't imagine staying in the same co. for 30 yrs. Sometimes it's risky to hv yrself so involved & attached to sth else. It makes u vulnerable.

I feel so shocked to know that the colleague sitting next to me has been put in a redundancy pool after staying here for 30 years! Feel sad for him.

Have heard the recruiting is dying down with Xmas coming up. But guess I should keep sending letters even I may not hear anything before new year.

I haven't received any job spec from the agent who called me yesterday. Guess this opp has been blown? Sigh. May send some more CV this afternoon?

I've pulled out of the Go-Karting day. Not a big fan of wheels. Dun think I wanna pay £75 for that. Plus feel awkward to go as no woman goes at all!

I know I must be an Irish in my pastlife. I love the shades of green. I love harps. I love spinning & knitting. Dont these traits sound Irish? :)

A few words about my Ireland weekend trip. Didn't do many touristies, but enjoyed the walk in Wicklow. Do hv some pressures w/ the parents but its ok.

Where is my Wollmeise package?? I ordered it 10 days ago. Wish it'll arrive safely before another strike on Fri!!

I've done the economics part of my Iran report. I think it constitutes around 70% of the report. Now I just need to write up for construction.

Just got a call from another agent. Guess I failed it as I said I look for finance but he actually wanted to refer me a statistician job in media...

I still haven't received the specs from Fullcircle. How come? This agent seems a bit too slow or I am not longer a candidate for the jobs mentioned?

My boss is back to the office. Hasn't bugged at me yet but I know he'll soon do it. I think I don't hate him but just hate working with him.

Happened to passby a LYS on Sat. Got 2 bags of fibre + a ball of Irish Mohair wool at €18. Not sure what to make from the curly mohair. Maybe a scarf?

Halloween on Sat. Lots of ppl dressed up like Zombies & the dead in the Temple Bar area. S did take 2 pics but a bit blur as they moved a lot.

We went to Wicklow which is a mountain area in Ireland. The weather was so so but the scenary was great!

Back from a trip with S' parents to Dublin. It's not too bad mainly becoz S has done a great job in expectation management. Anyway. 1 more week to go!
